Level 3 Craft Bricklayer - Advanced Apprenticeship

Are you looking to further your career as a bricklayer? This apprenticeship could be perfect for you. As an apprentice you will be in a position of responsibility in your role at work. You will often provide technical leadership and supervise the work of others. You will be responsible for ensuring the masonry element is delivered to specification, time and in a safe and sustainable manner. The range of sites and projects that bricklayers work on include large commercial developments, new builds in housing, alterations, extensions and restorations.

You will learn through a range of practical and theory based lessons. You will be released from work one day per week to undertake training at the college. You will be employed within the industry, working 30 - 40 hours per week. You will be assessed through end point assessment (EPA) and graded pass, merit or distinction.

GCSE at grade 4/C in English and maths are preferred. You must also pass an initial assessment, secure work as an apprentice and have one satisfactory reference.

Work as a qualified bricklayer, with the potential to develop your career across the wider construction industry in roles such as site foreman, building supervisor, building control officer, construction plant operator and many more. You may be able to progress into a higher-level position at work such as technical, supervisory and managerial roles.
