Course Details
- Exploring health, safety and welfare in construction
- Construction drawing techniques
- Set out masonry structures
- Erect masonry structures
- Sustainability in the construction industry
- English and Maths (if not achieved at grade 4)
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Work experience forms a large part of the study programme. You will need to complete over 300 hours off-site work experience. You will be expected to secure this prior to commencing the course if possible.

You will have a range of further study options, including the Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying or one of our plastering courses.
Work as a qualified bricklayer, with the potential to develop your career across the wider construction industry in roles such as site foreman, building supervisor, building control officer, construction plant operator and many more.
