About us
As the largest A Level provider in Hull and East Riding, the statistics are straightforward; students do very well at Wyke Sixth Form College, with our results justifying our position in the top 10% of all Sixth Form providers nationally.
Our students have progressed to exceptional destinations. Our students have progressed to exceptional destinations, achieving 158 A* Grades, 61% A*-B Grades and 81% Distinction* or Distinction Grades in 2022.
We hope to help even more students make exceptional progress while studying at Wyke Sixth Form College, along with developing the wider personal qualities that ensures they truly stand out. The atmosphere here is a friendly one and expectations are high. There is little need for rules because we expect students to be self-disciplined.
Wyke is the perfect place to gain your independence; meet new people and enjoy new situations. Once at Wyke, you will be joining students from 44 schools, spanning across Hull, East Riding and North Lincolnshire.

Applying to Wyke for September 2022
If you are looking to apply to Wyke for the next academic year, our application window will open on Thursday 21st October 2021 in line with our first Open Event. You can complete an application through Lincs4U before this date, but please note that it will not be reviewed before Thursday 21st October 2021.
The priority application window will close on Friday 18th February 2022. You can still apply to Wyke Sixth Form College after this date but you will not be guaranteed to receive an interview or enrolment appointment for the College.

Student support
Students at Wyke are provided with a high level of dedicated support. Whatever the problem, there will be someone here to help. Examples include:
The Tutor Team
Every student is allocated an individual progress tutor who supports and guides them through their study programme over the course of their time with us.
The Learning Support Team
The Learning Support team provides extra study support to students who need it or who want to improve their study skills.
Safeguarding
Wyke Sixth Form College has a dedicated safeguarding team who are here to help you. Within the team is a designated safeguarding officer whose role is to provide support, advice and guidance to all students on a daily basis regarding safeguarding and emotional wellbeing.
Financial Support
Wyke Sixth Form College offers financial support through the College discretionary award. If you are eligible, the College will provide you with a travel pass or a meal allowance.
