Careers Advice

North Lincolnshire Council’s Careers Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) team provide careers information, advice and guidance to young people in North Lincolnshire. We work with young people aged 13-19 (and up to 25 years old for those with learning difficulties/disabilities) in schools, colleges and other settings. We also work with young people who have left education and are NEET (not in employment, education or training).

Our team of qualified careers guidance advisers provide targeted advice and in depth careers guidance to all young people who fall into certain groups in all our secondary schools and colleges. In addition we work in partnership with the following schools to help them meet their new duty to provide all students with access to independent and impartial careers guidance:

  • Baysgarth School
  • Frederick Gough School
  • Huntcliff School
  • Melior Community Academy
  • Sir John Nelthorpe School
  • The St Lawrence Academy
  • The Axholme Academy
  • Winterton Community Academy

IF you go to a school on this list then please ask to see your North Lincolnshire Council Careers Adviser.  If you go to a school that is not on this list then please speak to your tutor or careers teacher and ask who will provide independent impartial careers guidance for you.  You may be in one of our target groups and we can see you or your school/academy will have its own arrangements.
